Bamake Rumbam

Bamake Rumbam founded Rumbam Engineers in 1994, bringing over three decades of engineering leadership to Papua New Guinea's infrastructure and development landscape. With a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from PNG University of Technology (1979), he has built the firm's reputation on a foundation of technical excellence and client-focused solutions.

A Fellow of the Society of Professional Engineers PNG Chapter and a registered member of the Institute of Engineers, Bamake combines formal professional standing with deep practical experience across civil, municipal, and strategic engineering disciplines. His hands-on involvement in major projects throughout Papua New Guinea reflects a consistent commitment to delivering engineering outcomes that align with broader national development goals.

Senior Architect

Ian Tabara

Ian Tabara gives REL extra capacity in architectural design of houses, flats, townhouses, warehouses, low to high rise apartments, retail shops, offices, hotels, resorts and public buildings, as well as urban restorative and renewal developments. He has extensive experience in project management of foreign aid-based projects in liaison with government departments across nearly all provinces of Papua New Guinea.

Inawi Kaida

Mr Kaida's expertise and experience over 36+ years is in civil design and documentation of major civil works within PNG. He has vast experience in project supervision of major roads and subdivisions, and is fully conversant with construction supervision, design and documentation.

Andrew Galore

Andrew Galore is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with more than 31 years of experience, responsible for all highway roads, urban roads and subdivisions geotechnical investigations. His key areas of competence include project management and documentation, highway and urban road works design and supervision, municipal engineering, water supply, sewerage and drainage, and project formulation and implementation.

Luke Niap has spent most of his professional life in the field of marine infrastructure — from studies and analysis to design and project management of port facilities and developments throughout PNG. He has extensive experience in marine and ports engineering with work experience in PNG and Australia.
